Welcome from the Headteacher
Miss F . L. Sayers BA (Hons); PGCE; NPQH
Welcome. Ticehurst and Flimwell Church of England Primary School is a wonderful place to learn and grow. In our Ofsted inspection in 2019, we achieved 'good' in all areas. You will find this report in the 'Performance' section of the website.
Our core values are centred on helping children to realise their aspirations and to aim high and achieve whether it be in the academic field, sport or the arts. We are on our journey to becoming an outstanding school because we want the absolute best for each of our children and nothing else will suffice. Our Christian vision centres on valuing each and every member of our scool community, cherishing our core Christian values of compassion, wisdom, hope and trust and holding these at the heart of all we do.
We can offer your child spacious modern premises and well-resourced classrooms which each have gardens and outside areas; a wide variety of extra-curricular activities; committed governors and caring staff who support children with the unwavering belief that all children can be successful, and support and encourage them to be the very best that they can be.
As a Church School, we have strong links with St Mary’s Church Ticehurst and also St Augustine’s Church in Flimwell. Our pupils behave well and treat all members of our own and the wider community with respect. We have a very strong focus on what now seem to be considered to be ‘old fashioned’ values, so on your visit, expect to be greeted by children and have doors held open for you.
Please contact the school office to make an appointment to visit the school and I would be delighted to show you around and answer any questions that you might have.
We look forward to meeting you soon.
