Welcome to Fuji Class
Fuji is our Reception and Year 1class.
Our teacher is Mrs Williams, with some supporting cover from Mrs Rofe.
Our teaching assistants are Mrs Turk and Mrs Thomas-Prause.
Fuji is our Early Years classroom and the class curriculum is centred around quality first teaching of the Early Yeats Framework. Within this context the curriculum is adapted to implement the National Curriculum objectives for the Year 1 children who are also in the class.
The curriculum is play-based and scaffolded by quality interactions with all practitioners. A range of adult led and supported experiences ensure children learn in a range of contexts which develop their next step of learning.
The rich environment enables pupils to access the whole curriculum within both the classroom and a well-resourced outdoor environment with a free flow ethos. The rich learning of our Early Years provision prepares pupils to transition seamlessly from the Early Years Framework to the National Curriculum when they become Year 1. We nurture the whole child on their individual journey within a Christian culture to enable all children are able to meet their potential as they "Love, Learn and Thrive".
