Religious Education at Ticehurst and Flimwell
As a Church of England Primary School, Religious Education is a core subject of our curriculum.
Religious Education is a vehicle through which we explore our school vision and virtues to greater depth and by which we learn more about ourselves as Christians.
As we learn about the beliefs of the major faiths in our local community, country and world , we seek to learn more about Christianity through respectful exploration and celebration of the similarities and differences between religions.
The importance of the development of the whole child spiritually, morally, socially, culturaly and intellectually is reflected in the RE curriculum.
The East Sussex Agreed Syallbus is used for the teaching of Religious Education, alongside the Understanding Christianity Scheme.
For further information please read the RE tab under the "Curriculum" section of the website.
